28 years ago I saw us lose a semi final. my earliest world cup memory.
I dident think much of it and I did not realise that may be the last time.
I'm proper excited. for the first time in years I am going in to town to watch an england game. it's going to be buzzing
Im in work on the Wednesday night at 2100 so if they settle it in 90 mins all good! 🙂
If not Ill have to listen to extra time / penalties on 5 Live, same as last week!🙁
I feel for you. I missed the last 16 and the quarter final because i was working, watched the second half of the first one and the penalties. radio for the quarters as I actually had to do some work. if it had been the 7pm kick off I might of seen some.
but this time win or lose I'm getting smashed.
going to be a party atmosphere. cant wait.
I watch the rugby world cup so they can all watch football come home.
Some right dickheads out on Saturday, jumping all over cars and bus stops on social media.
We went out after the match and the amount of old bill flying around, its embarrassing really.
Will be a bit nuts if we do win.
Sleepy Brandon was a pleasure to be out in, we didn't bother with the football but did walk up to the Excellent Mr G's for a game of bowling at 17:00
Lots of car horns hooting, people cheering and singing and having a good time. The market square was busy and it was nice to be out as a family amongst people enjoying some English success on the international stage without having to spoil it by behaving like utter dicks 👍🍻
