And remember.... love comes in little spurts. Phil You Think? When you get to my age, those spurts tend to come from a mayo bottle!

I do hope I have not shocked, offended or otherwise traumatised the viewing public that is the Thunderboat forum. This may be new knowledge for some but forewarned is forearmed as they say. And every day is a school day.

And every day is a school day. Snowflakes that drift over here soon melt and evaporate.. Best get it over sooner rather than later... I think its well time us ladies educated, there are so many 'err' knowledgeable postings by the sweary sweaty brigade that the forum could be viewed as unbalanced... I'm not referring to the boat stuff..thats the backbone of any boating forum Thank you Alison

If you want cringe worthy ads I spent four years of my working life promoting a product for vaginal dryness to GPs nurses and gynaecologists Bit like a pile ointment salesman then. Did you have a specially trained finger?

Nope, I sold the vaginal tablet as less mucky, can't be used as a lubricant (so the husbands didn't get a dose of oestrogen and start growing (bigger) boobs) and is a measured dose which is safer.. Also the applicator was perfect for getting recalcitrant cats to take their tablets.

Looking forward to joining in the banter on here. Hello, and welcome to TB, . . perhaps we can help out with your 'pain in the arse' engine. A company called Newage marketed the BMC 1.5 diesel engine - (originally used in the BMC J4 Van, of which the Post Office/Royal Mail had thousands in the 1960's) - as a marine engine under the name of the Newage/BMC 'Captain' rated at 36 Bhp @ 3,600 Rpm, and with a Newage manual FNR gearbox. In their original form they were direct/raw water cooled with the water being circulated via a belt driven 'Jabsco' pump, a low temperature (around 50 - 55 degrees Celsius) thermostat, and a manually operated hand-wheel valve by-pass. After circulating round the block and head jackets the cooling water went into the water jacketed/cooled exhaust manifold and, usually, was finally discharged overboard via an 'injection bend' into a 'wet' exhaust system. Is this the set-up you have, or is it a DIY conversion of an automotive engine ? Does the 'pain in the arse' factor arise purely out of weed and muck blocking the water intake strainer, or are you just having general temperature control problems ?
