"I don't need to hear or read any more on the EU debate. The EU is a fraud and delusional. Theory is fine, but in reality it's a dog's dinner. On a person to person basis, I'll accept anyone, from whatever part of the world they come from, if they're not absolute w@nkers. But, I do sometimes look at the number of foreign people at work and wonder what the local population are missing out on. Whether I like these foreign people or not, it doesn't stop me thinking that each position taken by a foreign worker is an opportunity taken away from a 'local'.
An open door policy is an opportunity for continentals. I can tell you, some are in no way interested in the UK. Some are indeed, after years living here, still registering their cars in their own countries, to avoid paying UK vehicle excise duty.
So, when the continentals are stressing the UK resources, if it all goes pear shaped, some of us will have to remain, because it's our home, and some will be packing their bags and moving to greener pastures, because it isn't theirs'; they will follow the money.
Housing. The government have obviously thought long and hard about how to accommodate the increasing immigration numbers, and in their usual uselessness have done almost naff all to build or plan enough housing.
Can you trust a politician - NO!! That's enough to swing my mind against the EU. Have they done much to counteract corruption - NO!! That's enough for me to vote out. Do they have much of a concept of equality in their own country - NO!! Could they organise a piss up in a brewery - NO!! £1.6 trillion of mess - Do you want to give the same people that caused it the benefit of the doubt - NO!! They need no excuse to blame for that mess or any likely mess that leaving the EU would cause, they can fuck up in any system. The EU is not a democratically sympathetic system, it's an opportunist's charter."

Working honestly, and behaving myself according to the traditions and codes of the country I'm in. Driving our car with a Finnish registration and paying Finnish Road Tax - unlike the Estonians driving here in Estonian cars and not contributing a penny to the upkeep of the roads they are helping to wear out; I mean the Estonians working in Finland, the "I'll do his job half-price, Guv'nor" back-stabbing bastards, not those who would be here genuinely on holiday - the latter are welcome to use the roads for 'free', as we are in other countries. I have nothing against foreigners visiting for purposes of tourism. I'm pretty sure there are more Finns working in the UK than Brits in Finland, so don't pull the old bollocks about me 'stealing' a job from a Finn. Perhaps you've never been in a job where being replaced by a cheap-labour inferior-in-education-and-attitude foreigner is waiting behind you to replace you.

It could be argued that anyone living in the U.K., Finland and Estonia aren’t foreigners anyway, as they are all part of the EU, which is like one big happy country apparently... Back in the 90’s I remember as a software engineer we had some huge pay rises due to the demand for us in a fast developing technical world. Within just a couple of years the government dealt with the ‘problem’ by hiring thousands of Indian software engineers. as a result the pay rises stopped. This will happen more and more as we move to a single global village (or New (single) World Order). The EU was one step towards this which is why I believe our best interests are served by leaving the EU. Leaving the EU probably doesn’t suit the richest people in the U.K. though as they want to use the cheapest worker ants available. To make matters worse, a large percentage of them aren’t even Brttish!

What I can’t see is why you believe that being out of the EU will change anything for the better? I think leaving with a deal will limit the economic damage. Leaving with no deal will be a disaster for many. Anyone working for large manufacturing companies must be very worried! Lots of these companies will just move production abroad. This results in the loss of what are generally decent paid jobs, which will be replaced by yet more crappy jobs in warehousing etc. The Uk government will screw the poor as much as the Eu government does. Leaving will just make it worse.

"Juncker tears up May's pleas for backstop concessions and blasts the UK for 'nebulous and imprecise' demands as EU twists the knife" "Theresa May was humiliated and sent packing by the EU last night after they refused to step in to save her Brexit deal." "She pleaded with them..." You pathetic creature, what these non-elected EU bureaucrats need is a swift kick in the nuts, followed by a fist in the teeth as they bend over. Just how much are her air fares back & forth to Brussels costing the British tax payers? What a waste of aviation fuel!

Leaving will just make it worse. How can having more control over our destiny make things worse? The British have made it through 2 World Wars and came out of both stronger. We can start by becoming more self sufficient, but as has been mentioned before, I think you’ll find that other nations are more dependent on us than you think. So no, I don’t believe in the usual Remoaner hype that we will fall apart at the seams. Remember, we voted to join a common market, not to be part of an Europuan state. We never had a vote on joining the EU in the first place! Trade relationships with other non EU contries still exist and I’m sure many EU countries will protest if they are penalised from trading with us. In fact, I believe we could start a trend in countries seeing the benefit of cutting the Eurocratic control strings. By the way, our government is just a puppet in the game of satisfying the wishes of the financially richest. The further you move decision making away from our government the easier it is for these rich global investors to manipulate us, and the less the British public can do anything about it. It seems that this is already being proven now by our government not respecting a democratic vote. 52% of those who voted out are watching what is being played out very carefully.

I think it’s your generalising which is a bit, erm, excessive at times . Anyway we all seem to be fairly happy here, and it’s Christmas soon. La la la la....

The eu think there's going to be a second referendum and the UK is going to come cap in hand back into the fold. Anyone who thinks they are going to let's us stay as it was, look at how they have treated May who has been acting as their lacky over this.

I mean how would remainers feel if they had the 52% vote and that was reversed?
