This forum seems to be full of cantankerous and foul-mouthed gits so I feel right at home. We are all hypocrites but that's human nature. I just get riled by Philistines, those who are proud of their ignorance and wear it as a badge.

My first house was in Skipton, in the centre of the universe. I moved to Hartlepool when I married. Never been back to Brum but I still love the accent and remember the warmth of the natives. And I know your remarks are tongue-in-cheek! |

We used to have a girl called Jill Goodman in the mess from Hartlepool she had enormous boobs which when she got drunk used to get out and show us!! what a girl. She had them reduced because they were causing her trouble running they used to cause me problems as well!! As time went on and they were healing up we were allowed to inspect the progress of the healing after Wednesday Harichoki nights in York as I said what a girl
