Rog I would bow to my betters, we voted them in to take care of our needs not our wants and daydreams or nightmares. I think you'll find your "betters" take care of their own needs, not ours Jim.

And they introduced the referendum for their own ends ... nothing to do with dreams. Rog

Hypothetically any case is valid.
That's kind of the point of it being hypothetical ... anything is possible.

that kind of hypothetical is worthless - like most of our polly-tishuns.
Noah Harari wrote Homo Deus in 2016 and predicted that politicians would soon become followers of events, rather than leaders. That is exactly what is happening now that the internet provides us all with many opinions, creates trends and ultimately creates history.

Just had a timely leaflet from Stephen Yaxley Lennon through the door. Very timely, it now has a brown stripe on it. He'll be in jail shortly anyway, his appeal against contempt of court was declined. Well, we can but hope. His leaflet, I'm ashamed to say, does contain one fact I agree with, about Nigel Farage "he's just another stockbroker millionaire who looks down at the working classes". Apart from that it's dog whistle comments throughout.

So this public figure has chosen to use a name that ISN’T the one he was born with. That’s so fucking weird. He’s the only famous person I’ve heard of who’s done that. Except for Reg Dwight (Mickey Mouse), Marion Morrison (John Wayne), Harry Webb (Cliff Richard), Maurice Micklewhite (Michael Caine), Paul Hewson (Bono) and a shitload of other famous people. Andrew Marr did it on Sunday when interviewing Gerard Batten, the leader of UKIP. “So, Steven Yaxley-Lennon” the smug little shit said, thereby implying that the use of another name was somehow sinister and deceitful. Ok, we get it. Tommy Robinson isn’t his real name. So the fuck what? Nobody outside the left wing bubble of fuckwittery cares." "I'm a grown-up and should have known better, admits Andrew Marr over drunken embrace with a colleague"

Some are fooled by the change of name, as was his intention, into thinking he is "one of the lads" instead of a little man seeking power.
