Nope - I haven't followed the Windrush debacle but what I have seen/read seems unfair. Yes, I am tolerant, but not towards those who wish to steal from me, or cheat me, or want to murder me. Much as I suspect you wouldn't like your tenants refusing to pay their rent. You seem to presume that the majority of migrants are rascals. I disagree. The majority aren't. They want to get on with life and earn a crust honestly like you. Not do a job that's subsidised by the state or on benefits. Still, if you want it your way I'll continue to class you in that majority. Hoist again by your own petard.

I'm guessing it's fair to say that Skylight Circus Arts is not wholly funded by customers prepared to pay to use the service they provide, as happens in the road transport sector? In other words, it's a parasitic organisation run by third-party funding simply to provide faux-employment to the otherwise unemployable? Typical Quitling fake reasoning. Some of the Road transport industry is subsidised, here as in Finland, where they also employ migrants with their subsidy, according to an expert. You should get Shania to proof read your posts for veracity, she has more brain cells. What sector of road transport is subsidised in the UK?

So, am I reading this right ...
The blonde bombshell appeals that his main negotiating chip (leaving without a deal on 31 October) isn't removed by MP's rushing through a law to prevent a no deal exit and making the government seek a further extension of article 50 into next year.
He warns that he WILL NOT seek any extension, but will call a general election.
If a general election is called, I guess he's hoping that ALL supporters of brexit , from whatever party, will rally to his cause giving him a majority and a mandate to leave with or without a deal on 31 October.
Am I missing something ... or is this where we are at present ?

"Bus transport is heavily subsidised, with subsidy accounting for around 45 per cent of operator revenue, especially in London." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bus_transport_in_the_United_Kingdom"BSOG is a grant paid to operators of eligible bus services and community transport organisations to help them recover some fuel costs. The amount each bus operator receives is based on their annual fuel consumption. BSOG aims to benefit passengers. It does this by: helping operators keep fares down enabling operators to run services that might otherwise be unprofitable and might otherwise be cancelled" www.gov.uk/government/collections/bus-services-grants-and-funding

If that's the cunning plan ... a big if ... the general election becomes a single issue poll ... effectively a second referendum.
How can anyone write satirical political comedy when the real thing is so bizarre .

How can anyone write satirical political comedy when the real thing is so bizarre . Rog They don't mind how they win the next election as long as they do win. Despite the present government previously doing everything they could to fanny about and not leave we're supposed to believe that because they're now peeping out from behind Boris instead of whats-her-name the staller, they in fact do want to leave, right now, deal or no deal. It's simple - The opinion polls were showing the Libs would win the next election so they had to do something drastic. They still don't really want to leave at all, but they'd rather leave, even with no deal, than loose power.

That fossilised twat Hesseltine has been talking about putting the national interest before any personal or career interests when considering Brexit. Does he mean in the same way that he does, by pocketing £90000 a year land subsidies from the EU?
Their Georgian house, where the couple are waited on by a butler, chef and housekeepers, is surrounded by 70 acres of gardens including a lake, medieval fish ponds, a fountain avenue, tennis courts and a pool. The estate also boasts an arboretum, which has more than 3,500 different species of trees and shrubs. A Freedom of Information request shows Lord Heseltine appeared to have received a series of EU farming subsidies since 2000 averaging £90,000 a year. When asked in 2011 about the subsidies he was receiving, Lord Heseltine said: "This is the whole basis of the European agricultural system. Without the agricultural support system, you would drive farming out of existence. The fact that I am a wealthy man is quite irrelevant."

This might be interesting for some...
The last option would be for Mr Johnson to go to the EU summit on 17 October with Parliament asking him to seek a delay - but then veto this. To secure a delay would require the support of all 28 members of the EU. As the UK is still a member, Mr Johnson could - however bizarre this might sound - veto his own government's position.

Just how difficult is it to say Fuck Off to the EU? Just drop a nuke on Brussels, that should send the message home.

Apparently a 3 month delay is being sought. What is the point? I wonder.

Apparently a 3 month delay is being sought. What is the point? I wonder. What's 3 months after 3 years? And then another 3 months. And another 3 months. I did say earlier that I thought Boris was just another EU-employed trickster, now in to make people think things are different now that that awful hag May has gone (but not without her handsome pension!) - only they aren't.
