There is a low bridge on the A5, a short walk from the Lime Kilnes pub on the Ashby canal, it even has sensors that flash big lights telling the driver he is not going to make it through. I was moored there one night and popped out on the rear deck for a smoke and heard a loud crash and the huge fireball shot up the air, seems a truck full of bad shit hit it, sat there for a while watching it burn. Was it you stabby? That one gets hit all the time. There's a fairly easy way round it although it isn't signposted.

Good bit of old cast iron pipe that.
A530 Middlewich, canal bridge Has warning signs starting over a mile back both ways and sensors, flashing sign. And still it gets hit regularly or some \EU? driver drives right up to it and then find that ist a hell of a reverse back before they can turn. The guy living below the bridge has had built a massive set of gate posts as he is sick of wagon reversing into his graveled drive.
