1800 fuel injected automatic with a kamikaze heater system (petrol fired hot air system) that could be run without the engine on.
wolf in sheep's clothing off the line when using kickdown ......terrifying, you were always waiting for the pistons to come out the sides

Just a thought to make everyone thankful..... If labour had won the election and Corbyn would of contracted the virus and put into intensive care, Diane Abbot would now be running the country! π±π±π±

Received a phone call from my stepson yesterday ...... He's back from the Gulf (Navy)
Not spoken to him for ages, not too unusual as depending what he is doing and where, he sometimes drops off the scene but this was a long gap. Silly bugger had changed his phone and forgotten to let me know ..... he said he had been wondering why he hadn't had any texts or calls from me for a while !!!
Cheered me up no end

I love good news JohnV ... makes me smile I was messaging my sister to see how she is, and decided to send her a photo as well ... went onto the back deck with my tablet and could hear someone shouting my name ... no one in sight ! Turned out it wasn't angel voices ... I must have caught a button on the tablet and started a video call with my sister ! Amazing really cos I wouldn't have a clue how to make one if I tried. Temperature normal, and feeling much better ... and I've seen her too ... happy days. Rog

I do love good news....
I'm now looking for a puppy to share isolation.... obviously has to be local...and no not rescue dog this time I want a small scruffy cavachon type .... found some but 29 miles away and I have no transport nor valid reason to justify breaking rules...but on the positive Ive actually seen what will fit in with my lifestyle I am sure somewhere local there is one that I can get with my daily exercise maintaining social distancing etc etc....

Could be difficult getting a puppy which isn't a rescue dog at the moment Patty.Vets are only dealing with emergency treatment,so no chipping or basic injections being carried out.

The only positive thing to say is that I'm just back from my daily kayak. I always feel better after exercise. This will continue, regardless of what any 'rules is rules' twat might holler at me. If the going gets really tough I'll simply stick a cassette on the front of the craft so I can reply to said twat "I'm going to the services, it's allowed, now fuck off"

Or "I have an unusually small shit suitcase".
Funny how when there is nothing else to talk about it always ends up being toilets.
Seems to have happened on another thread as well.

Anything upbeat and positive to say?
Creosote splurged about on the fence between our house and the neighbours, two coats and away we go; good for another 10 years!
both cars washed and polished down to the primer - long overdue π€¦πΌββοΈ
Day off tomorrow - what with it being the resurrection and all that.

Itβs Easter Sunday. Main positive today is that I have a chocolate egg to give to Ali. Donβt think Aliβs had a chance to get me one, so thatβll give me brownie points for a whileπ. Try and have a good day all.
