Air rage has massively increased over the last few years, just WTF is wrong with people? www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-37386554What is happening to people's behaviour and what are the causes? It is not just in the air, it's on the ground too, it's even on the waterways with fucktards ranting about anything as simple as not stopping their engines as they cruise past! Just what the fuck is wrong with people nowadays? Are people becoming more unstable? Is it drug/ drink related? Is it stress/ pressure of modern life? I dont remember my grandad being a troublemaking, pissed up stress head when he recounted the WW2 horrors? Whats your our views about society today's behaviour?

Here's my usual paranoia take on it.. It suits the elite to have us stressing each other out and killing each other. One way to reduce the population I suppose. A more sane explanation is the onslaught of marketing/media forces (brainwashing), poison in our food/water/air, fear of 'doing the wrong thing', high expectations in life, meeting deadlines, craving money over spending quality time with those we love, in fact lack of quality time full stop....add your own list here... I think the answer is to escape the bollocks and live a simple life on the cut. The only problem with that is that we still feel the suffering of those we love who are still stuck in it.

Just an off the wall theory ............ One of the (many) theories put forward for the collapse of Roman civilization suggested low level lead poisoning might have been a contributing factor. ( exposure to lead of children can have serious effects on the development of intelligence ) as the children born during the period of maximum exposure to the highly toxic lead compounds in petrol are now in their mid 40's this accounts for the middle aged plonkers but one wonders about the effects of other pollutants that have been introduced into the air/water/food chain over the last decades and what effect long term exposure has had on modern behaviour. It wouldn't take a great deal of change in the behaviour under stress of the population to cause the collapse of civilization. Why should we expect logical assessment of situations and their likely development from the general populace, when, let's be honest, we see plenty of examples of not being able to think things through, in government. We have all seen plenty of examples of the inability of some, to see consequences for their own actions. www.researchgate.net/profile/David_Bellinger/publication/21719143_Low-level_lead_exposure_intelligence_and_academic_achievement_a_long-term_follow-up_study/links/0c96051bf6757244c0000000.pdfwww.lead.org.au/Chronology-Making_Leaded_Petrol_History.pdf

It would seem that maybe I am right, as benzine replaced lead and modern diesels create the most dangerous of pollutants maybe the end of the world is upon us

It would seem that maybe I am right, as benzine replaced lead and modern diesels create the most dangerous of pollutants maybe the end of the world is upon us Not to mention the effect of the massive increase of Electromagnetic Radiation from mobile phones, radio and TV networks. Tin foil anyone? I've always been a strong believer that stress (physical and mental) is the main cause of most ailments. It's pretty much proven now that our immunity levels drop off when we are stressed. It could be argued getting run over by a bus is stress related due to taking ones mind off the ball for a few seconds. The other interesting thing is how much time we spend in our heads rather than the real world. We spend too much time worrying and thinking about things which will probably never happen. So many of us spend too much time in the virtual world of the internet, books, TV, etc rather than living reality (another thing which suits the controlling elite!). Burst that bubble and look around. Listen to nature, smell the air. savour food instead of chucking it down your neck, hug those you love around you...or even a tree. The simple things in life are the most rewarding ...and usually free.

We have all seen plenty of examples of the inability of some, to see consequences for their own actions. Quite agree. I've thought for some time that our civilisation is on a knife edge. If I were a gambling man I'd wager that it will indeed collapse. When? who knows, but certainly in the near future, in the scheme of things. Possibly in my lifetime, I'm in my 50's. I'm glad I haven't got kids, I think they were certainly experience the break down. Some reasons for this have already been mentioned. We can add rampant population growth alongside reducing resources. Climate change is a factor directly related to this. Also worth mentioning is the inability of world powers to take proper decisions due to the overriding ethos of liberalism. I don't wish it but in a way it would be amusing to see it happen. People who see themselves as powerful now being reduced to gibbering nervous wrecks as they realise that they don't have any survival skills. On the other hand, those who know how to catch their own food and defend themselves would prosper, relatively. www.researchgate.net/profile/David_Bellinger/publication/21719143_Low-level_lead_exposure_intelligence_and_academic_achievement_a_long-term_follow-up_study/links/0c96051bf6757244c0000000.pdfwww.lead.org.au/Chronology-Making_Leaded_Petrol_History.pdf

Good work foxy, I particularly liked this bit. If you wear your hat backwards for a long enough period of time on a sunny day, and it has an adjuster, you will sunburn a half circle on your forehead. This will make you look like an even bigger idiot when the hat is off.

As this is a nonsense thread I thought I could slip these in here. My daughter put me wise to Jim Jeffries, and my son let me know about Louis CK years ago:

Why do people keep looking at my 'count'? I haven't looked at it for a few weeks - remind me this evening to check it, thanks!
