Let me know if they are annoying on any devices. I'll have a fiddle and try to tidy things up later today. Got to pop out now..

Unfortunately my mate moved away so we can no longer view the neighbours shed.. I'm tempted to sneak into the garden to see how it's fairing.. Back to the ads.. I've paid to remove the proboards ads as they are a constant source of shite and nasty popups, especially on mobile. I've replaced them with some Amazon ads which won't do that... It would be cool if the Amazon ads covered the cost of removing the crap ads, so feel free to click on them and buy stuff. Hope you are all keeping well! Let us know if you are out pocket with any expenses.

Can we help with that, a few pounds apiece (OK, if you are from Yorkshire - a few pennies) not to have ads. Maybe via PayPal?

I'm not from Yorkshire and I don't do paypal but I could chuck a few quid in a pot...

Thanks for the offers but I'll give the advertising a go first, I'll keep it to the unobtrusive banner at the top and a list of random boaty products right at the bottom of the page. It would be nice if the forum is self sufficient, and so much of our traffic is from guests who don't create accounts, I don't see why members should cover any costs out of their own pockets.

"I don't see why members should cover any costs out of their own pockets."
Some may be happy to contribute. It has given us a lot of fun over the past 4.5 years, and has kept us off the streets and the country safe.

Just as a matter of interest.. Just looked at the stats and the forum has had over 2 million page views since the start of lockdown.. Guess you lot had nothing better to do.. Shame you can't set up your own adverts as the income from those hits will help a lot. My mate runs a website and the adds pay for the whole thing. Eta, ahhhh I must have missed that post.
