Sure do, I like the film a lot but watched it to death. Give it a couple of years and watch it again, it really is a good movie. I agree. Even after having sat through it too many times to recall, I still went to a cinema event just to see it on the big screen. Awesome. I fairly recently watched 'Dredd' (the 2012 version) which I rejected on general principle at the time. But its great (if you were ever a 2000AD fan). Also a highly under-rated masterpiece - 'Predestination' is worth watching - based on a short story classic called 'All You Zombies' by Robert Heinlien.

Although there was quite a lot of humour (of the blackest kind) in the comic which doesn't easily translate to film. The Stallone version got it right in terms of environment but Stallone himself was a disaster. Best story - Dr & Quinch all day long, and Halo Jones. Both written by Alan Moore! It was quickly identified as a blatant rip-off of a 2000AD short called 'Shok'. The headline claim is a bit unwarranted but its still good to watch. The producers eventually settled out-of-court with Fleetway.

It’s got Lemmy in it as a boat taxi driver, if it’s the one I’m thinking of. A cheap budget English production. I quite like it although the final show down is a bit weak.
