back on track i have a 69 year old friend who is with a 20 year old girl, they have a baby together they went on holiday with the girls granny, he didnt know what to do when asked at the airport, how is your grand daughter and great grandson....................

Ok looking for advice. We know a couple who live on two boats....... not sure if the lady is the chaps mum or girlfriend........ how do you casually find out...... I mean if you state "hows you mum ?" to the chap that could be bad if its his g/f... etc etc. I was thinking along the lines of " how is your sister" hoping to get clarification lol. Start by asking how long they have been boating together, if that doesn't lead to answering your real question, follow up with "so how did you come be boating together" or "so how did you first meet"? If the woman is his ... mother / daughter / sister no harm done & no offense could be taken Well that's the approach I'd take anyway
