I believe only 1600 or so made and less than 60 left that folk know of. rest either scraped or in the grave yards. Meaat to be good solid built boats, well i can say they are well built and solid. a 1960s so expected for that era.

I've seen similar but I can't place one. I do think there is one on the Thames somewhere.
And I do like the fact that occasionally these little boats are saved rather than being crushed.
One day they will (hopefully) be treated like classic cars. Cherished by owners who just want to have a nice time out on the water...

It is specifically these sub 20ft GRP cruisers that I would like to see survive. Longer narrow ones have been superceded by things like small narrow boats but the little 15-20ft GRP cabin cruisers have no modern alternative unless you have a lot of money. Plus these smaller GRP boats have a habit of looking really cool. I still haven't done anything with my as new and unfitted Fairline 19 but it is still floating, covered up and licensed so it lives to fight another day / year I'm sure one day it will be a classic...

Years ago I used to have a boat with two matching outboards on it. It was a twin screw gentleman's motor-dinghy.
Sadly one of the outboards has since been stolen.
I still have the dinghy though.

Or maybe its to small with 6 inch between engines it will give just 16inch to fit an engine. a 25hp is about that wide
