Regarding the last two companies I worked for - I used to work for Little Eastern until Branston got me into a pickle. Before that I used to work on the underground at Bank station shouting 'Mind the gap'. This qualifies me for my current role where I say 'Don't mention the funding gap'. I am off now for my evening stroll round the Soho loop. ... but keep the questions coming as boaters are central to everything we do. bye bye fake. If you were Richard you would know who I am, we had dinner recently what was the name of the restaurant and in which town? Might be just me but I'm beggining to think you seriously believe that this guy is actually genuinely trying to be Mr Parry. What's even more scary is that you may have had dinner with the genuine Mr Parry and you think anyone would turn a crappy internet forum into a public company. Please tell me you're joking.

Vincent Van Gogh once painted my front room. I asked for a lovely shade of natural hessian I’d spotted at B&Q. What I got was more of a pale magnolia. NEVER AGAIN I TELL YOU!

Oooh Mr Perry, you sound such a lovely, genuine, caring person.I'd love it if I could join you in your next evening stroll around the Soho loop- where we could discuss such topics as the roll of masterboaters on the cut & how the truss has changed you as a person. Yours, with stars in her eyes(painful but pretty fashion accessory)-Trina

I should perhaps explain about the Soho Loop. When I joined the Truss it was thought that I should be able to show some connection with the waterways. As such we had our good friends at WaterwaysWorld say that I enjoyed walking round the Soho Loop. Perhaps we should have have done some research because the towpath is rather wet even in the summer months. Having to keep up appearances, l now make sure I take a stroll when I can. You are more than welcome to join me. I will provide a hard hat and and high viz jacket but please bring your own chest waders.

Well, 'Dick', your lack of experience and minimal knowledge of canals is very evident from your last remark about the necessity for chest waders. If walking through the muddy puddles on the towpath is a problem, then walk along the middle of the canal instead, . . . . you'll find it's nothing like as deep !

Dear Richard, What is your view on widebeams being allowed to move further North than Berkhamstead? A sensible question at last. The Truss does not endorse the purchase of widebeams in order to circumvent our CC rules. As such, it is now a requirement for all widebeams to demonstrate that they have cruised from Little Venice to Gas Street Basin within the licence period. We urge any widebeam owner who may have difficulty in complying to contact our welfare officer who has the telephone numbers for BWML and Tuckeys. As such we positively encourage widebeams to further North.

Well Tony, you certainly seem to have got out of bed the wrong side this morning! I must apologise for the mess the Truss has got into with your court case. Indeed, we should not have made any claim against you until the Ravenscroft case had been determined. All I can say in our defence is that we thought we could get the case thrown out. Unfortunately, that did not happen. However, we regrouped and decided the best way forward was to ensure that Nigel Moore was not allowed to act for him. Unfortunately that failed as well. As our last offer to did not meet with your approval we will be sending a fresh offer to settle the matter by discontinuance. Just sign the letter and return us with a cheque to cover our costs.
