Comment in the Daily Wail... "Captain Sir Tom Moore - now one of the 107,000. RIP to all those who have been taken from us too early by this pandemic". Sad though it might be for his relatives, he was 100 years old for fuck's sake. We seem to have completely lost sight of the fact that all human life comes to an end, and that the death of a 100 year old is not some tragic aberration in the scheme of things. Yes he was 100, yes it was a good innings. He raised over £32million at the age of 99 for the NHS. If people are not allowed to celebrate his iife and mourn his passing just because he wasn’t in the first flush of youth than this world is a much grimmer place than I thought.

I reckon everyone should try to make as much noise as possible tomorrow night in his memory.
Air horns truck horns saucepans anything you can find to make a LOT OF NOISE just do it.
7.40pm for two minutes even if it does coincide with Corrie.

I wondered if it was the French way of writing it.

No, the tragic aberrations post here. Nobody forces you to. There's nothing stopping you from deciding to post elsewhere.

At least @nemesis has come to terms with the fact that he is a tragic abberation (sp).
I reckon if more people could recognise this obvious weakness the whole world would be a better place.
Not going to happen though is it.

The person in question was 100 years old. It is entirely in the scheme of things that 100 year old people die, it is not "tragic". One of my sons is an HCA and about to start nurse training and he works on a cancer ward where children of six, seven, eight years old die. That is tragic. My point was realistic and stoical and I really am not interested in your hand-wringing herd mentality thinking.

One of my sons is about to start nurse training.. Do you regularly cast aspersions upon his sexuality and call him feminine as you used to do to Martin when he posted on here? Yes.
