It's a bit unusual for small narrow boats to have sofas in them. Normally there is a built in "dinette" arrangement. Sofa is a good idea but quite surprising. It's a sofa bed, used when one or other of my kids come to stay. I bought it about two years ago to replace the previous one which was totally shagged. Quite expensive, around ÂŖ800 I think but really good quality Scottish wool, viscose would have been a lot cheaper. Boat isn't really big enough for a dinette.

Oh yes the sofa bed. Of course.
My second narrow boat had one of those, an inline type where the back folded down rather than a bed frame coming out of the front of it but I took it out immediately and put in Parker Knoll armchairs.
Good idea if you have visitors, to be fair, but I always managed to avoid this issue when I was young free single and rich tall dark and handsome.

I really hope Phil the Greek pulls through. I was thinking there might be an extra Bank Holiday for his 100th birthday which is only a few months away and it would be a tragedy if this didn't happen and I had to spend another day at work when I could be sat on the sofa getting pissed at 9am and scratching my bollocks. Well you might get a day off for the funeral although I did hear it would be a small family affair......

Think it would be sad if he didn't make 100,as he must be looking forward to a special card from the queen.đ

I suppose the ideal scenario is that he snuffs it in July, then we might get two Bank Holidays.

Bruce Meyers. Designer of the beach buggy. Had one in the early eighties for a while, when everything was a little more care free and less health and safety crap. Great fun. RIP.
