I've been thinking for a while - there are lots of things I set out to research and either forget or get disillusioned when I Can't find them.
It occurred to me - HERE we all are... in the most part fecked off with stuff at the moment and probably with too much time on our hands ... SO - HOW about having a thread (this one will do I suppose) whereby folks can list things they are trying to find - be them ideas/products/bric-a-brac or whatever that OTHER can help in the search with.
There might be a more clever way of doing it but lists are a simple starting point.
ONE example of something that I want are 3 solar panels - great than 240 watts each that are 158 cm long - width not so important.... I look from time to time and then get distracted or have one glass too many and abandon the search.
WHAT if we took our united research abilities and pitched in if we could? - I'm sure I can't be the only one trying to find something . A community research project to a) help each other and b) while away a few hours instead of fighting among (amongst? ) ourselves.
It's just a thought.

I've got a Nigerian prince friend whose uncle died in an undocumented aircraft crash on the DRC.
He has already provided me with USD3.1million and all I had to do was send him Β£2500 by BACS.
I CAN SEND YOU HIS NUMBERS.

I have thought it a bit strange that you have lots of websites like eBay and Gumtree which focus on the selling, but hardly anything on the 'wanted'. Even in the old days in newsagent windows notice boards, you'd see plenty of wanted advertising cards. Why can't people bid against eachother to sell items to buyers rather than buyers bid eachother to buy items? I've always seen an elite version of this working too. A millionare wants to buy a very rare record to impress their partner. Rather than search eBay etc and faff around with negotiation, gets a 'search and find' agent to do the donkey work. All for a premium fee of course. I'm sure it'a been done...Andrew?

There used to be a wanted option on eBay but I suspect it elevated their income from stolen goods above the 31% threshold where the authorities would become interested.

Without prompting the wrath of Gazza for not doing it. I need to find materials to build my perfect shed. Insulated and lined with ply with a solid door.
