I presume its a wide beam as the amount of people on board is quite impressive. The interesting point is the boat was seized. It looks empty so I have to presume its not someone's home. If it was that must be unlawful. No one has had their house seized. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-56053229

Previous unpaid fine for a similar offence I think.

I don't go there much but prior to the lockdown I did pass a "boat" near Hackney Wick more accurately described as a raft with a lid on it with that many people on it that there was no room for movement. Loud music strong smell of skunk and nobody complaining. It was quite impressive. Probably an internal area of around 25 square metres with about 50 people. They had pallet built shed on the end as a water closet. Waste directed into canal. I was going to report it but I was like "WTF OMG' isn't it.
Not being a clubber type I did wonder how this was achievable but I suppose some people like it. You get all sorts after all. And the drugs probably help.

Yes and if you were running that sort of thing you would presumably make sure the person "organising" it was not all that easy to pin down.
Seems like a good wheeze and maybe a nice little earner.

You should have made the title of this thread '26 people fined for being on a boat'. That way it would have attracted much more attention.

Your punishment for ignoring a blatant breach of lockdown regulations and endangering the public was to have scum break into your boat and steal from you. What goes around comes around pal.

In what way have I broken lockdown regulations ? ETA you don't have to answer this if you have trouble doing so but you will find you are incorrect in your assumptions.

Linking this to the pointless burglars is a bit of far fetched red herring.
