Yeh, and to be honest, I’d rather they kept those attitudes in London where I can avoid them, but I don’t think the “attitude” boaters are a London centric thing. Some new boaters seem to have a fuck everybody else attitude. There seems to be a new class of boaters ..... in fact a new class of people in general ..... the entitled The baby boomers offspring 😉

Interesting to read the NBTA blurb mentioning licenses. A boat on the Lee Navigation does not require a license. A pleasure boat certificate is what it's called. Or have the NBTA already given in to the CRT claim that they are allowed to license the use of a PRN waterway? Almost everyone has succumbed to C&RT's mumbo jumbo nonsense regarding its non-existent extra-statutory powers to license the exercising of the PRN on its scheduled river waterways, . . one of the questionable benefits of heeding 'professional' legal advice.

"The new licence terms aim, among other things, to clarify the mutual respect required between the public and CRT towpath staff and volunteers."
No killing of data collectors then !
Why the hell is mutual respect something which needs " clarifying"?
Surely its just basic manners isn't it.

They’ve pissed slot of people off by the way they deal with people, so I suppose if your the blue shirt people see, they are going to let you know that they don’t like cart.

Of the nine things that crt are trying to clarify this is one that makes me think.
1. Requirements for boaters to travel on a journey while away from a home mooring (to better manage ‘ghost moorings’/moorings of convenience where a boat spends extended periods on a small part of the network away from its home mooring)
Surely all moorings are moorings of convience?
