Just a quick check in to let anyone concerned about Tony C ( when he deleted the other week) know, we stopped behind his boat yesterday afternoon and banged loud enough to wake the dead.
Luckily, he isn't dead (or wasn't yesterday). We couldn't stop long enough to have a full discussion as to what happened to press his button (needy guests on board) but the jist of it was that Wilson had mutinied and taken matters into his own hands.
The break, away from topics which cause him distress has probably helped and he suspects Wilson will be back with more amusing writings just as soon as he gets sorted.
He WAS touched that folks were concerned about him and on reflection thinks he should just probably have logged out for a bit instead.
Twas good to put our minds at rest... grumpy bunch of opinioned oddballs we all can be, we still need to look after each other.

He got a bit "Princess" and so obviously he got a bit of a slap for that, and he has to accept that on an internet forum not everybody is going to agree with him, but nobody called for him to be banished. If he wants to return then I'm sure we will welcome our lost lamb back into the fold. |

I know but it was a strange flounce and did raise questions(to me anyway) if something else had upset his peace of mind We've had many flouncers, some return some don't. Its quite sad when a regular poster goes whose provided some interesting posts and comments Not sad when we lose the toxic |

Problem with todays entitlement. Asked to leave for being inappropriately dressed. Then complain to the media that they haven't apologised or answered her complaint. They actually believe that spoons have done something wrong, imagine a pub throwing someone out that they dident like the way they were dressed. Happens in pubs and clubs up and down the country. |

To be fair to her, the Spoons in Bedworth attracts some characters, and they look like they haven't washed in some time, but then they don't have boobs half hanging out i guess.
Everyone wants their five minutes of fame, either in the press or on social media.

I remember getting thrown out of the Spoons in Oxford.
My brothers stag do and my brother, nephew a couple of others and myself went to get breakfast after a heavy night.
We went straight onto jars of pims with our fry ups, and after my nephew had a bit of foolery with the barman. They asked us to leave, at about 9am.
Bad times.

I got asked to leave Yates Wino Lodge in Dudley back in the day.There was a singer guitarist 'entertaining' us & we were all heckling him-with good reason.How were we supposed to know he was the landlady's son ?🤷🏻♀️
Thrown out of a Yates'...oh the shame.😏
