Popped to Morrisons about 5pm.
Back on the 19 July I commented that the majority were still wearing masks although no longer mandatory.
Today very few were wearing masks ... it appears as each day goes by we are 'voting with our feet'.

To be fair have not been to any Morrisons supermarkets for a long time.

Launderette at Stone with one member of staff and five customers in ... one customer wearing a mask.
Called at a Coop on the way ... no masks worn by staff or customers.

Most people at the local retail park are wearing one, plenty who are not. No-one seems too fussed either way. I continue to be a bit sneezy with an occasional cough so I don't mind wearing a mask in enclosed spaces. There are still plenty who wear one in the open air though, I guess they have their reasons.

I suspect the early publicity about everyone knowing somebody killed by the virus and the empty shops will have stuck in people's memory.
Some people probably still think it is a massively contagious and deadly virus which is going to keep on keeping on killing.
Death death death. And all because of covid.
One day everyone who dies will die because of it.

Met friends for a slightly boozy lunch in a pub.
Great fun ... very few masks ... there was the odd customer wearing one but one in ten at the most.
