I’m feeling much better in myself but last night I realised I have lost my sense of smell completely. Imagine sniffing a bottle of bleach and getting …….. nothing

Rog Thank you, Wayne (other half) is more or less recovered, with his sense of smell still intact, he’s been playing with his new leaf blower today! Re sniffing bleach, when you've drawn a blank with perfume, shampoo, etc you resort to more pungent smells. You realise that when you drew a blank with bleach and Zoflora, you absolutely, positively have lost your sense of smell!

Got my stabby-jabby booster tomorrow morn' Patty.P had his the other week with no probs, hope I'll be the same !🤞🏻 Had mine on Saturday sore arm and headache for the day so not bad, remember to let your arm hang lose it helps I was 'boosted' last Thursday. Pfizered this time. Had similar, arm was much more painful afterwards than with the AZ version and felt a bit 'crap' for about 36 hours. But then I guess you know its doing 'something'. The flu jab we had a couple of months back had no noticeable affect on either of us what so ever.

As I collect my children from inner city schools every day of the week I come into contact with the real viral load units.
Ok so their heads are lower than mine but I've had several slightly unusual and nasty little bugs which usually last about a day or two then go away.
My theory, and I know I should be taken out and shot at this point, is that repeated exposure to the virus is likely to cause the human body's immune system to "sort it out"*. Humans have been around for ages. We are talking decades if not centuries of survival faced with the grin reaper.
It could be a nerd immunity thing I suppose, or maybe I will suddenly be struck down and die horribly.
I have had bad CAP pneumonia and that was pretty shitty but also it was bacterial and not a virus. The reason I took so long to seek medical help was that I was convinced it was a virus but it was the CAP one. Given to me by a scum private dentist. I should have known but the tooth, which was fucked by a previous dentist from years ago, really was hurting so needed to go!
Anyway.
One hopes everyone manages okay in all of this.
* I do know that some people have nackered immune systems and therefore need to be extra careful.
