I was sent to Cuventry a number of yars ago but due to my astuteness was able to return to a reasonably civilised part of the country.
Some of canals round there are quite mice to be fair.

Coventry was probably quite nice in the pre-Luftwaffe era. Of necessity it was hurriedly rebuilt in the 1950s and 60s using contemporary materials, i.e. concrete. As a result it's now a bit of a shit-hole. Lieutenant Pigeon were from Coventry too. This single, which reached no 1 in 1972 was recorded in the front room of a semi-detached house in Coventry. This song remains the only ever Number One single to feature a mother and her son.
