as you say Andrew a nice little toy ..... It looks well fitted out but in a rather modern style for a "historic" boat. Rather too modern for my taste, with an old boat I do like to see wood.

Completely agree with you and I dislike the al treadplate that really is not appropriate. Practical but ugly.
Could be rearranged.
Does not mention beam. Looks a bit top heavy with that big wheelhouse.
Nice to have a living space with enough headroom though that's definitely an advantage for longer stays or living aboard.
Quite small for living on but doable for one person just about...

I remember this old girl carrying passengers on the Thames. I thought it had been broken up but apparently still extant. Despite being called SL BELLE it has a Gardner oil engine in it. prestonservices.co.uk/item/sl-belle/![](https://prestonservices.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/SL_Belle.jpg)

Lovely boat. I was just thinking about Bampton today as it has a co-op and is by a nice out of the way part of the Thames. Will be up near there again soon on one of the fleet. Bampton is not actually on the river its a fair old walk so not sure where that boat is it looks like it might be at Newbridge.
Eta ad says its at Radcot.

This is the boat I have been dreaming of. rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F163663686624![](https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/yjcAAOSwo~BcwLFW/s-l1600.jpg) A nackered rowing training boat. GRP so its not a rotomoulded plastic pos. What a lovely base for a conversion to a decent durable fast electric launch with space for a couple of passengers. A cross between a dinghy and a canoe. Its wicked. I want it. Recaro seats, big brushless motor, lithium batteries and 3 lace parasols on order.

Its 18ft long which is a bit extreme.
Would need a bow thruster to get it to turn round !
Done right it would make a seriously comfy and fast electric launch but its overly long and a bit heavy.

That's a real ship, if I would have € 120.000 lying around, I would buy it immediately, but as I haven't, someone else (more fortunate) may jump on this occasion. Peter.
