Goes to show how the word sorry is pointless.

Yes, I'm genuinely sorry. Ross loved his boat and loved boating and now the opportunity to do that has gone because he was caught in a classic scam orchestrated by a very shrewd boat broker. Ross had at least two surveys undertaken on his boat before and while it was in his possession and both reports stated that the hull was in good condition. The survey undertaken by the Bogus Buyer's surveyor painted a completely different picture. Maybe both of Ross's surveyors got it wrong in which case the money he paid for these surveys was simply wasted. I'm far more inclined to believe though that the broker arranged for his tame surveyor friend to prepare a report which grossly exaggerated any minor issue in order to force a huge reduction in the selling price. As I've said before, I don't believe in "victim blaming" although any good salesman is an excellent judge of human character and I have no doubt that Ross made himself an immediate "mark" from his very first phone call which would have stated his tin-foil hat beliefs about Covid and how it was never going to go away. So basically the broker had an open goal.

To sum up;
Sorry but he deserved it.

Mr Stabby knows very little about the sale of our boat. He is very clever though, and knows how to use words to manipulate things to suit himself. There are a lot of clever psycopaths in prison.
Stabby always 'conveniently' 'forgets' to mention the UK border was effectively closed from March 2020 - May 2022, and that we needed to cross that border to get to our boat, for example. Stabby doesn't travel abroad so is not qualified to comment on international travel. Which is good, as we don't want any slightly-dangerous nutters wandering round the European mainland, thank you. Now he suggests someone pour petrol through Tony Dunkley's letterbox and burn him to death. Nice. He has fabricated a story on the 'Rate Driver' website in which "another driver"* claims Stabby has a big willy.
Is this normal behaviour?
(*Stabby: "It wasn't me who wrote that, honest!")
Quite simply he is a loony living on an old tub, for which no insurance company will issue fully comprehensive cover as it has had no recent hull survey, and if you upset him he will make up malicious slurs and try to discredit you.
Best keep an eye out for any envelopes with a UK postage stamp and a Coventry postmark containing talcum powder posing as Anthrax, eh?!

Some even clever enough to be able to spell "psychopath". Look, I'm sorry you got scammed out of your boat, ok? I won't mention it again.

It's bad enough that someone so mentally deranged and unstable is let loose on any country's roads in any sort of vehicle, . . let alone a 44 tonne GVW wagon. If the Police do their duty, and the Courts impose the appropriate prescribed penalties, this potentially dangerous nutcase won't be doing much travelling anywhere in the foreseeable future, . . except for circuits round the prison exercise yard, . . a well deserved interlude which should also bring his part-time driving career to a final end. But, never mind, I'm sure he'll be able to console himself with the prospect of joining his friends and admirers on TheUnprincipledBar Forum, . . where, apparently, he is free and welcome to spend his time sowing the poisonous products of his sick mind, . . subject to the limitations imposed by any future mailbag sewing duties, of course. You and I should perhaps consider ourselves fortunate to be prevented by TheUnprincipledBar admin and members from mixing with such dubious company.

The UnPrincipledBar was one of Tony's funnier comments in my very important opinion.
I did have a little giggle.

As an internet stalker and general woo-woo I searched for Mr Stabby's car registration number in the RateDriver search box. Is this normal behaviour? Fixed that for you.

Instead of tampering with, by means of knowingly false accusations, and the malicious misquoting of others posts, . . and as someone with a proven well documented record of internet harrassment and stalking of your own, . . your time would be better spent in acquainting yourself with the law, and the penalties reserved for dealing with those guilty of such offences.

Your personal attacks on me are intimidating, they are harrassment and they are illegal. You are going to stop making them. It's that simple.

I'm wondering who is going to present a CRN first.
Harassment is not something to be taken lightly.

I'm wondering who is going to present a CRN first. CRN not required for criminal prosecutions under the 1997 Act, . . only for damages claims pursuant to a successful civil action for defamation, or libel, giving rise to demonstrable/substantial financial losses, . . although Section 3) of the PHA 1997 does provide for civil remedy actions on the part of individuals affected by Sections 1), 2), and 2A) offences.
