were quite aware that you don’t feel sorry or even the least bit of empathy for him. It would be going against character for you to do so. Just as I am quite aware that you do feel sorry for him and have lots of empathy - but of course if he came knocking at your door seeking a bed for the night, you would be quick to tell him to fuck off and die. It think this is called virtue signalling. No, you terrible oaf. It's a far more simple thing.

The whole thing is a horrible situation and I don't doubt that George is his own worst enemy. The rational thing would have been to make efforts to comply with CRT, but George isn't rational.
As Andrew has consistently pointed out, there is no 'right to remain', but simply a conditional permission. I suspect there are many who have agreed with George and to the contrary. I bet they describe themselves as 'friends'.

It is of course plausible that the gentleman has a land dwelling.
A lot of people do and it would make this sort of behaviour a whole lot less risky.

It will be interesting to see if they physically remove him if he refuses to leave.

I would bet George has fuck all apart from what you see. It sounds like crt already removed most of his possessions.

If a court hearing is a result of what happens today, the subject will not be the legality of the official actions. It would mean he isn't sleeping on the street tonight though.

I would bet George has fuck all apart from what you see. I'm not a betting man.. I don't really see what else the CRT can do. If they never do anything about this sort of situation it would be a green light to people who may wish to follow suit by choice rather than by default. Tricky one.

It’s kind of a green light for some people thinking they’ll get ten years.
