A flotilla of boaters will leave Braunston today". Probably not if they only left yesterday.

And to think these idiots were allowed to vote in the eu referendum.

The £400 was to cover the fact that mains gas went up by about 400% and mains electricity much the same. Meanwhile coal went up about 50% and diesel about 200%. Solar remained free. Households receiving the grant pay council tax (our is over £3k a year) whereas the itinerant boat dwellers don’t. So I don’t feel too sorry for them, they want to dodge paying their fair share of tax but expect to get whatever handouts are going.
If I were the government I send a bunch of HMRC chaps out to check that they paid propulsion tax on the diesel they are using to get to London. I would put money on the fact that most of them haven’t.
Oh and it says they will travel 3 hours per day, which must be exhausting for them since they are probably only accustomed to travelling 3 hours in a year. The poor things.

Good job your not the goverment then. No, but as we know the government regularly reads this forum and so they will have taken the hint.

On the facebook page they give an itinery which has several consecutive days of doing approx 18 wide locks per day, but only 8 or 9 miles to do.....

I nearly went to London but little sis kept reducing her availability to assist and when I ended up with 2 days, I ditched the plan. I wasn't confident enough at that time to do solo. I guess if a 'flotilla' en route there will be moor parking places at Braunceston

And to think these idiots were allowed to vote in the eu referendum. The idiots bright enough to see through Boris & co lies? No promised benefits to be seen yet, unless one is a xenophobe. Any retired Tory gimmers and brexit fools fancy a bit of fruit picking, go on do your bit to retrieve the country from the mess you have caused.
