Anyway, homophobe is a label that was, and is used by gay blokes that have no alternative answer to an argument when it is suggested that one bloke shagging another bloke is not normal. NN has two meanings, not normal and nick norman 🤭 Homophobe. (and we all note how you keep dragging the conversation back to your favourite subject. And we all know why). I don't. What's the reason why?

even in Rotherham I can immediately think of things I'd suggest for a visitor ... Rog The waverley estate car crashes for instance? A sight to be seen evidently. That's Catcliffe ... not Rotherham town centre. Rog

Why should I keep it to my bloody self? Well, no more than any bloody heterosexuals should. But they tend not to. Anyway, it is not me constantly banging on about anal sex (which by the way is not limited to the poofs) so take your whinging up with thos who are. Incidentally, I find the recent bout of abuse directed towards yourself and Jeff to be highly unpleasant and, in some instances, seemingly grounds for the very real possibility of criminal charges being brought. Such is the behaviour of the mob. The incredibly tolerant approach you've maintained thus far is surprising, to say the least. It just goes to show that there really are no limits to the depths to which some participants in this often very nasty cesspit will sink. Well I think that (last bit) is the point. The abuse only reflects badly on the perpetrators, it doesn’t reflect badly on me or Jeff. If they want to make themselves look like hateful homophobic bigots in public, that is their lookout. I do try to tame them a bit, for their own benefit. Although one might well question why I bother!

May jump on a bus and have a wander around the town. What's recommended by you locals to the area ? Even in Rotherham there are things worth seeing 😁 Rog Still some nice things to see around Nuneaton Rog, not a lot mind, but some. To be honest its no worse than a lot of towns i have visited, shops are all the same, people sitting in spoons are all the same so i am not sure why the bad name on canal forums, i do wonder who has actually had issues as everyone likes to bad mouth but not say what happened to them...

Eyup Dave, twerp2 (Asleep) good to hear you ... how's things going ? As it happened we went into Leicester instead for the day. Have to agree that I've never heard anyone relate a bad experience of mooring at Nuneaton, although avoiding the place seems to be the general recommendation. We did moor there once ... outside the flats where the football ground used to be, in order to visit the launderette Rog
