I don’t think Jim has said that everyone that voted leave is xenophobic. Quite a lot are though. Wanting the best for the people of your own nation, wishing to see their interests being first and foremost in the minds of political leaders is only xenophobia in the minds of the deluded. Back when the vote was actually taking place I ran a factory. I recall chatting with 6/7 lads on the shop floor, 5 of them told me they were voting leave because they didn’t want anymore immigrants coming over. They used stronger wording than this mind.. il also add my late dad to the list who told me the same thing. So as I said, not all leave voters were xenophobic, many were though. You wanna believe otherwise then fair enough.

Relax fi try not to get upset It'll run its course. There's not been that many photos which suggests limited interest anyway. Rog I'm not upset, just need a break from TB.

You wanna believe otherwise then fair enough. Not wanting any more immigrants, or less immigrants, is a position that can be held without being xenophobic. It's a position that can be held because of the practical realities which result. For example a housing crisis, worsening of government finances, wage arbitrage, longer queues for NHS treatment, less availability of NHS dentistry, less availability of social housing, more traffic on the roads, worse pollution, pressure to build on green spaces.

Overcrowding is very real.
The other thing which I don't think is particularly xenophobic is to dislike people who think it is normal and ok to leave endless amounts of litter in public areas.

You win, racism doesn’t exist outside of my head. Il pop back here in a week or two and be hoping that you have gone back to canalworld. Your really not worth spending time arguing with.

Please don’t let one member spoil it for you. He obviously seems to have come back for a political argument.

I agree, never get a straight answer to a straight question, invents supposed arguements and blatant lies for those who take him to task.

But don't ask me a question as an answer to a question I asked you. That doesn't cut it.

I can't quite remember what that Brexit thing was all about, could someone remind me please? Best ask someone who can't move on, still has it fresh in their mind. One of the 'progressives' perhaps?

Aye but an emergency, punishing budget following a 'leave' vote was promised. It was said that house prices would crash and that people would be dying in the streets because of the unavailablity of medicines.
It seems that the more convincing liars won the day.
