I'm all for a bit of piss taking, but is a Special Brew drinker really in a position to be calling others 'Pikey'?

why are you on a boating website? is it just so you can discuss the caravan website at a distance? Actual ownership of a boat is not a prequisite of forum membership here (or CWDF as it happens). ok? maybe true, but owning a caravan should preclude your rights to do anything related to waterways.

I'm all for a bit of piss taking, but is a Special Brew drinker really in a position to be calling others 'Pikey'? Well, yes, because I don't have a caravan. However, I do have a toilet which needs emptying at regular intervals and logic suggests that watered-down beer is not best suited to this. Plus, Winston Churchill used to drink it- it was originally brewed for him in fact- and if it was good enough for him, then it's good enough for me.

No not from here obviously or CWDF but 'Caravan Talk' a forum for all things caravanning. there has been some recent mild dissent on there about one of the moderators in particular who had a nasty habit of goading people and then asserting his authority as a 'moderator'. Pretty unpleasant way of doing things. some of us challenged him last night, very politely and courteously but it seems he has taken the hump and banned me and presumably the others too. i only post really to point out that CWDF operated a similar system of dealing with dissent amongst the membership then probably half the membership would have been expunged by now not just the few that have recently. It actually makes CWDF look quite tolerant of open criticism given the very mild comments made. You know what you can do if you dont like it....start your own I'm still a member of that forum but not logged in for a while, It got very fluffy bunny and any decent debate was met with the Mod Hammer. I might go back and see how its going

I have a caravan. Mind you it doesn't move often.
But I do have an ENORMOUS glider trailer. When the weather is crap for gliding I take it out on the road and drive along at 20mph weaving all over the road. Such fun!

Ah right, well as it happens it doesn't so perhaps put this in 'suggestions' then, it might just fly as an idea....

The Danes brewed it for him as a practical joke. Actually, you are a bit "out of the loop" here anyway, because Special Brew has not been the preferred tipple for street alcoholics since 2011, when duty on super strength lager was raised. Ace cider at 7.5% ABV and 99p per tin is the thing for the discerning gentleman of the road nowadays.

I have a caravan as well. In all seriousness, none of us has the slightest problem with caravans or caravanners. We just like to take the piss out of Martin.
