Latest poll showing Labour lead down to 12% 😩 Defeat from the jaws of victory anyone? 😂 It's always the case that poll stats tighten the closer a general election looms.

I think the tories might just slip back in. Because the anti Tory vote will be split. Although a hung parliament is probably the most likely outcome I think.

The problem for the Tories is that their change to being social democrats will lose them votes to Reform while the red wall, who lent them their votes due to the unsuitabiliy of Corbyn, will take their votes back. It's difficult to see which groups will be attracted to the Tories these days.

I reckon so many people are just so disgusted with modern politicians. Who knows how those that can be bothered will vote?

But I think it’s important to get the tories out this time. I don’t think it’s healthy for the country if any one party is on power for too long. They start to to feel invincible and take the piss like the tories have for the last few years.

Yes it’s a difficult decision. But I think they’ve got to go just to change the regime, if not then your average person in this country is going to get really shafted. I think if the tories get back in they will go mental because they will feel they can get away with anything even more than they do now. I’m beginning to feel a hanged parliament might be the best outcome, let them argue amongst themselves, whilst the population gets on with their lives.

I feel you meant to say a 'hung' parliament, but please accept my apologies should it be that I am being presumptuous. 😃

I think if a few more parliamentarians had been hung during the history of these islands, they might have a bit more respect for the general populace.

You need to find a better spoon...
'There is no suggestion that Hyndburn councillor Munsif Dad, who leads the local authority’s Labour group, made inappropriate comments at the meeting and no further action has been taken, according to The Telegraph.'

I'm going to vote for the Green Party if they field a candidate in my constituency at the next election. Ok, so they might be a bunch of lentil-munching, yoghurt-knitting tree huggers with zero chance of forming a Government but I think their hearts are in the right place. And that surely counts for something.

I'll be voting Plaid Cymru. OK, they are a bunch of Marxist lunatics with zero grip on reality, and hate the English. On the plus side, they have zero chance of forming a government. They hold the seat where I live with the only realistic alternative being Labour. So it's Plaid for me, obviously.
