the only adult female he has ever had sexual intercourse with. Does that statement include animals because the look of fear in that poor dog’s eyes say differently? 😱

There's always something slightly magical and strangely appealing about canal junctions, and this one particularly. Perhaps it's the choices or possibilities ? Not the best spring weather, but attractive notwithstanding. Rog

I think it is "Lapworth Link Junction". I seem to recall that that short stretch on the left under the bridge is non-original and was added relatively recently to avoid having to go up one lock and down one lock in order to go from GU to Southern Stratford. Does anyone else remember that?

Ah another one named after the Link family. Ribble being the most commonly known.

I think it's Brinklow junction but I could be wrong 🤭 Moved from Kingswood junction upto the Black Boy pub for a walk into Knowle. New moorings parallel with the canal here (well new to us) which look jolly pleasant. Anyone know anything about it ? Rog

I call it the non reflector boy pub.
Also known as the Youthful Spearchucker pub.

It actually relates to Charles ll , although I noticed the cruising club opposite call themselves the Black Buoy CC (see what they did there)

One day they will wake up and just get rid of silly pub names.
They can all be called "the non specific licensed community engagement space".
It will be easier for everyone.
I went in a pub for the first time in ages this morning. Cup of Tea in The Bear (spoons) in Maidenhead. Quite good actually.
This was part of the team building exercise for the SBS.

I like pub names ... rather like railway station names, they tell a story and are quite poetic.
