'Family day out' Something quite spring-like in this Solihull statue. Rog I've seen Rodina Mat in Volgograd but "Family Day Out" is definitely more impressive.

Pity about the graffiti ... it's an interesting structure, but as fast as it's cleaned it gets painted again. Rog

The sword of damocles.
Not sure what a damocle is but apparently there is a sword of them.
Your houdini hatch, solar panel and the gate make this into a great zombie film image.
One of my favourite pictures.
There is no escape, prison bars, potential light and even a tunnel. And a life ring.
Its a work of art Sir.

Sadly lacking. No silver roof box to put that clutter in.

I always think Spring is here when the Boat Race (30th March) and the Grand National (13th April) have taken place.

The lovely old copper beech is still erect despite there being a restrictive covenant on the land from a hundred yars ago forbidding any erections. In about 1840 the Thames Conservancy bisected a wealthy gentleman's land to construct a lock. Obviously there was recompense but the poor blighter found his country retreat spoiled by plebs and had to put fencing in and eventually succumbed and sold the estate. The resulting breaking up of the land parcels was all a little shocking. One is allowed to have erections 50 feet away from where I am but in this specific parcel no erections are allowed. Nobody told the tree.

I will of course send photos of the light cruiser missing bridges and also there will be torpedo action directed towards the very obviously known targets.
They need to be taken out. It is in hand.
I am supposed to keep this all under wraps but as nobody ever reads this forum I have been allowed to unwrap and they said it was good to let off steam.
Obviously I can't say who 'they' are in either of the two contexts other than to point out that 'they' know who 'you' are.
For a number of different rather obvious reasons.
So yeah. All guns blazing.
