A bit like the Moonies then ... More like De Beers. Tomsk found "Twat"s just laying on the ground. He started polishing them up and giving them away for next to nothing, but the whole time he was hoarding most of the "Twat"s himself. As soon as "Twat"s became desirable, he drastically reduced the supply and suddenly they were valuable. Non-tomsk "Twat"s are like cubic zirconium. They look pretty and might fool some people, but they aren't authentic.

In my opinion tomsk was one of those that came from cwdf, to cause trouble and disrupt Thunderboat. Twat being his prefered insult, when all the members here at the time adopted it, it kind of lost its power to insult and became something else. Tomsk still visits because like a lot of people he finds being able to say what he thinks refreshing.

The most accurate use of the word "Twat" I have come across is one used to describe tosser rowers ("scullers") on the Thames who think that their pissy little one foot wide boats ("rowing shells") with a beam of 20ft due to the oars ("blades") has priority over other river users regardless.
I am unsure whether allocating this descriptive term to internet forum users not known to be involved in competitive rowing is entirely appropriate.

Twat is one of the few names for the pudenda that doesn't begin with 'P'.
