Even if we disregard the ISIS membership aspect, would it be reasonable for the UK government to be obliged to undertake a mission to rescue and repatriate a British teenager and/or her baby who, although having left the UK whilst still a 'child' to enter an established war zone for whatever reason, had, since gaining adulthood, decided to remain there, willingly having children by a member of one of the warring parties, and continuing to do so even after two babies had died as a result of the lack of proper facilities?
Whilst the Home Secretary's actions may be questionable, the current criticism of the UK's failure to rescue the baby is totally uncalled for. The girl is not stupid - she comes across as quite intelligent and certainly capable of understanding that she knowingly placed herself and her babies in jeopardy and must face the consequences.

Whilst I'm not a supporter of hers, I have argued her case. I dont beleive we should send anyone to get her either. If she wanted to get home she knew where the airport is.
She could of asked the sky reporter for a lift.

An opportunity for Corbyn and those like minded to be outraged that Britain, a prosperous country, didn't offer her and her child a life on benefits in Britain until the kid, inevitably, became a terrorist. I guess there will be a few accusations around that those who denied them access to Britain are child murderers. Bang on the money there I see. Funny they seem to have forgotten the paternity side - surely the Dutch & /or EU has some skin in this bleeding hearts argument?

Unfortunately we have created a nanny state where many folk feel it is perfectly acceptable to defy the law and to ignore the travel advice issued by the Foreign Office when it suits them, and then to expect the 'home country' to come to their aid when it goes tits up.
Perhaps an internment camp should be set up on a windswept Scottish island where all the suspect returnees and their groomers will be kept until ISIS and all the associated organisations publicly declare that the hostilities are over and that they will live at peace with the world, showing tolerance to other faiths (which will never happen). The conditions don't need to be much better than the camps in Syria, and the cost of operating such a facility would be much less than keeping these hate-filled warmongers in a prison. Any vulnerable children should be taken into care.

I read somewhere that she spent her idle hours in Syria sewing explosives into suicide vests. Pity she wasn't used as a guinea pig to check the quality of her work.

So the women do the sewing, cooking I guess, more than likely provide sex on demand, while the men go out and blow themselves up. Seems like the ISIS leadership could do with going on an 'equality' course.
