She said: 'I want to face justice in a British court. I wish to redeem myself. I would like Britain to accept my apology and to give me another chance.' that may be what she would like. Just possible that she's guilty of wishful thinking................... would she accept the verdict if she was given a life sentence instead?

Just possible that she's guilty of wishful thinking................... would she accept the verdict if she was given a life sentence instead? Because she knows there is little hard evidence against her that could be used in a UK court. As an example, look at the picture of her with the gun in the link.

she is clearly of the opinion that British courts should judge people on their professed intent and not on their actions.
if that were the case nearly every crime could be excused on the basis that "I didn't mean to do it".

Another one I like is where there has been an accident and it's reported the driver was breathalysed (must be drunk) but the fact that they passed the test is omitted. Amazing how many people assume that only drunk people are breathalysed.

Yes she can = good result all happy No she can’t = more dead people. Is it worth the risk??? I don’t think so.

I'm glad that most of the world recognises you can change a lot of people by changing their thought processes i.e. depression/other mental health issues, or at least partly change them.

I recognise that people can have their thought processes changed, and am more than happy for my taxes to support those with most mental health issues live happy lives in their community. However I feel the stakes are too high to release - Radicalised terrorists Serial killers Murdering/kidnapping paedophiles These people exist and as a society we have to consider the risks of releasing them, even if they promise to be good and not do it again.

Pretty much agree. Some would argue that your list should be extended to the likes of people who murder police officers, and racially motivated murders. I'd argue strongly with them; a murder is a murder, what the motive or who the victim was is irrelevant when society decides whether they are safe to be released.
