It's been a long day on here on Ellis... mainly because it began about 5am with a trip to A and E as Andy has suffered a crushing injury to his left bollock. It's currently the size of a grapefruit and has been prodded, poked, squeezed and looked at by half of wakefield today.
Apparently, the swelling could take up 6-8 weeks to subside. I hope Patty still has a nurses uniform!
So - the good ship Ellis is currently being single handed whilst the crew reclines on a cushion, wearing the tightest pants he could squeeze them into - along with diclofenac, antibiotics and co-codamol.
It's going to be a long weekened !

When you say 'single handed'
isn't that what got Andy into this trouble in the first place.
You don't know your own strength.
Sounds painful. Hope he's more comfortable VERY soon.

he has no idea... went to bed on Wednesday night ... it was a bit tender yesterday morning (didn't stop him having a morning tug only to discover blood in the finale) and by this morning - despite sleeping with a cushion between his knees and taking anti-inflamatories, it was enormous and VERY painful. Poor fellow can barely move and when he does, looks like john wayne - minus horse.

The very young urologist (?) had a really good feel/pull/squeeze and said she was confident it was not twisted... poor andy - he was been treated in an eye examination room as even at 6 this morning, a and e was full. his eyes were fair bulging. to match aforementioned scrotum. He's been resisting cold compresses all day but I'm going to use a firm hand now!

Andy's a lucky boy to have such a caring and discreet partner, who wouldn't dream of giving away intimate details of his scrotal problems to all and sundry.
Oops,
Rog
