You must have passed us today moored outside the arm. Did we give you a wave? The Whitchurch arm is run and owned by a trust. www.whitchurchwaterway.ukIf you are the first boat on the moorings then yes you did wave. It would have been about 1045 1100 time.

Is the canal frozen?
I was always told that, due to the flow, the Llangollen doesn't ice up.

The flow is actually very noticeable - at bridge holes and in the tunnels we had time to examine individual bricks, have tea and scones with a spider, and there was even time to finish writing my memoirs. Going with the flow you shoot through and into Next Thursday like Indiana Jones in that movie 'Indiana Jones-the-Boat and the Fast Flowing Canal'. Brilliant. That merlot has two sides to it.
