I did. English grammar follows rules, and I understand those rules, whereas you seem to think that your personal beliefs override them. They don't. I too am an atheist but the education I received at my proper school taught me that when one refers to a specific god, the rules require that the god is referred to as God. No I did. Because, whilst I am fully aware of the traditional rules of grammar, those rules are for the guidance of wise people and the obeyance of ill-educated fools. In the same way that I was taught at school that I should breed with females and make babies. You obviously didn't study biology at proper school then, otherwise you would have learned about Darwinism. Not only was there no obligation on your part to reproduce, but the Law of Natural Selection demanded that you didn't.

Thank god for Darwin (note the capital D since he is a real person, not a mythical figure whom it is my duty to unthrone.)

15 years and not married. partly because my Mum, Dad and sister have or are on their third marriage. My brother is on his second. I don't want to be a divorcee.
Also because when she fell pregnant the first time I said we shouldn't get married because she was pregnant. that's wrong.
mainly because when we were young I was quite good looking and she was a babe.
were not in that place any more and the wedding photos would be shitππ
maybe one day.
insight consider the first Thunderboat wedding and get a flotilla together.

Got married in a registrar's office in Barnsley Town Hall in 1979 as we're both atheist. Had the big reception but god played no part thankyou. We were young and wanted to commit to each other in a public way. We're still together. Rog Barnsley is where the chops come from 79' - a momentous year for Rog and mouse Ooooh,I like Barnsley chopsπ.

I married in 1979 at Oundle church... lasted 31 years.. the last few pretty horrendous. Iβm not allowed to re marry anyway, not that I would. Lived alone to long to accommodate the whims of man or woman or anyone really. Iβm tad eccentric and if alone it means no issues with up silly oβclock repairing my way what goes wrong in that house. I can also see who I want without justifying where Iβm going etc. Being alone and single has its bad times but itβs allowed me to be me.Ref civil partnerships they will protect legally from inheritance tax issues and I think for those who see marriage as an archaic institution, they r ideal. Marriage is not for everyone.
