9 hours a day too much? Sounds like you need a real man aboard. I would have expected you to have a real man aboard but evidently not. Real men do 12 or even 15 hour days. 9 hours is for girls. 9 hours is for girls...π‘π‘π‘grrrrrrrr

off topic I know, but I just entered the details - starting at our Cruise 1 through to no 8 this year into canal planner and just in the first 8 trips, we'll clock up: perhaps I won't dare DO any more adding up... gonna be doing a lot of oil changes this year lol Well I'm sure Foxy can talk u through if u've any worries about how many oil changes necessary.........

The Ribble Link opening in the early 2000's saved our Rufford Branch TBH, I remember doing the first 3 locks from Burscough in about 2001 and being forced to reverse back up, the weed and overgrown bush being so bad, just wish proper mobiles/cameras were around then!! Its a great, well used branch now thanks to folks doing the Link!π
