Thanks for pics, deffo looking forward to it! If I see you there, I will be sure to shout a deliberate mispronunciation of your boat's name. Iβm sure you will. You have a strong affinity for proclaiming your ignorance.

We were there for the 1st time in July 2014.Should have been there last summer. Now booked in for July 2019 before we head onto the Lancaster.π Both great trips, sure youll have a great time in the NW!Β The Ribble Link opening in the early 2000's saved our Rufford Branch TBH, I remember doing the first 3 locks from Burscough in about 2001 and being forced to reverse back up, the weed and overgrown bush being so bad, just wish proper mobiles/cameras were around then!! Its a great, well used branch now thanks to folks doing the Link!π We visited the pool in '15 went down to Tarleton just for the fun of it, nice little place, a good cafe and a charity shop. Had a day out on the bus to Southport too.

Just booked my second week of the year in The Docks for ' Brazilica 2019' , a week of samba dancing and general carnival queen-ness with my good lady friend! π In on 7 July and back out 14 July! www.carnifest.com/liverpool-brazilica-festival-2019/If you pass NB 'BaZ' en-route thro Burscough, gimme a knock and I'll take you out for beersπ»π Thanks for posting that carnifest photo Andy, I'll make sure not to go there during these dates then, as there are way too many pretty dancing girls to look at, and I don't think that my heart would be able to cope with that for more than 1 minute (or even less) . Peter.
