Sorry but I don't understand your point? The subject of the thread related to children of a certain age being taught about LGBT. I was not asking about ivf treatment. 😏. I'm pretty certain you noticed that in your haste to post.

Going back to foxy's point about divorce or relationship breakdown. Another of my woman's friends is a dyke. She is married to another woman who has produced two children via sperm donation (non present male input). Now what is interesting to me is that the non biological "mother" parent does/did most of the infant care as the biological parent is a higher earner. So the kids will see their non biological mother as a closer relative than the biological mother. What would happen if there was a divorce? How would custody work. Usually its the mother who gets custody (not always) but which mother would it be? I personally think having children with same sex parents is too dodgy for the psychology of the child as they get older. It just seems wrong to me. So would it be better for the kiddies if they were born into a heterosexual family where dad beats up the mother, abuses them before finally buggering off with a younger model? It only seems wrong to you because you were not taught it was right when you were 5 (getting back on topic!). Another random load of trollop to avoid answering the real issue.

No its nothing to do with what I was or wasn't taught at 5 years old Why is domestic violence always used as a "would it be better" argument ? Very weak. The point is that arguments against a same sex family revolve around the view that a heterosexual family must be a better way to bring up kids. Regardless of the detail. I can perhaps agree that a good, well behaved, nurturing heterosexual family is the best environment, however such heterosexual families are probably not in the majority, or barely. A kind and loving gay family is a far better environment to bring up kids than a dysfunctional heterosexual one, and better than a single parent heterosexual one, all in my opinion of course. In other words, it isn’t really about the gender of the parents, it is all about how the parents conduct themselves.

(Seems to be your preset status). To be frank, this particular policy at schools comes across as a bit pervy, which is worrying, and I have no doubt will not bear well in the future.

Is this thread come about because of the Muslims at a school in Birmingham moaning about the headmaster forcing the teaching of gay/LBTBXYZ stuff to their little darlings? I'm inclined to be on the side of the Mussies. Skool is for Chemistry, Reading 'n' Writing, and Geography. Have no 'white privileged Christians' been moaning about this 'fashionable topic' being taught in skools? Next subject FGM? I don't understand, in this age of equality and all that, why it's only the mutilation of female genitals that brings about the rage of society. Being a 'helmet' myself (rather than an anteater) I'm wondering whether I should feel enraged that I was mutilated in this way, at the choice of others. Should I apply for counciling? It doesn't make sense why us mutilated men are expected to just 'get on with it' while females are told to feel outraged. I mean, it's not as if mutilated females can't enjoy sex, I can personally vouch for that.

As I understand it, FGM includes cutting off the clitoris which, in my very limited knowledge of female genitalia, I think is a sort of vestigial penis. I suspect you would have been outraged if they had cut your knob off rather than just a flap of skin. On the other hand, you would still have been able to enjoy sex by taking it up the arse, so I suppose it wouldn’t have been a problem.

I don't know about other parts of the world but in s e Asia most (all?) Muslim girls are mutilated. Terrible eh? There again, the reality is that only a tiny part of the clitoris is removed, leaving plenty left. In my experience it makes no difference at all to their ability to enjoy sex.

I'm pretty certain you noticed that in your haste to post. Oooohhhh and there’s me thinking that we were all allowed to voice our opinion whenever an wherever we are on this forum! However there were statements the gist of which was that babies coul only be made by the process of heterosexual sex. I was refuting that idea. Anyone with an uterus can have a child heterosexual coitus is not a prerequisite.

(2) The statements you speak of were brought in to derail the thread. You did not have to follow, but could have easily if initially you had dealt with point 1 above. (3) Given the way uterus is pronounced, it's a, rather than an.

That is heterosexual sex, it's just that something was inserted in a different way. No, it is not sex! Conception, yes but not sex. Also homosexual and Trans people can (and do) have children by IVF. For a moment there I thought you were gonna say you were another Virgin Mary. How can 'trans people' have babies? Methinks you mean FEMALES.
