The front bollards look a little awkward to use?

The front bollards look a little awkward to use? They are a bit unusual. I always do boating with the rope attached permanently to front bollards anyway. In narrow boats and barges and this one. It's actually good for the bollards to be a little away from the bows as bow mounted bollards tend to pull the boat round in locks and whack the bow plating against the side. These ones are in a well thought out position as it happens. Lead the rope back to beside the doors and there is a little cleat to wrap the rope on to prevent any chance of it going in water even in a force 10 gale. No problems.

Only minor niggle is that port engine coupling between gearbox and tailshaft has a little backlash in it. Goes along fine and reverses but a slight rattle at gear change. Needs investigating.
Being this boat it has custom made couplings with something inside them. Nothing bent it's a metal on metal noise.
All dismantleable. the whole propulsion system is technical like a sewing machine. I'll take it apart at some point and have a look. Got a feeling he might have put shear pins in there and the port one is a bit worn. Would be quite a nice design and judging by the rest of the boat nothing would surprise me.

I'd imagine it would be hard to see a small boat going in front of those bows. Are you going to fit a camera, or just carry a child as a lookout? If using the child, you'll need handrails on that front deck.

Stick it to the stem post with a strip down the spine, excellent visibility, double up as a front button fender too. He has loads of spares.

Visibility over the bows is much better than it looks acrually. It's not very long.
Had a friend kipping on the boat last night the fo'cstle is well laid out with completely separate sleeping arrangements a vee berth and a cross bunk above with removable part which stores out the way under the front of the vee bed.
We both got up in night for a piss but neither of us noticed the other one. Proper crew quarters.
It's really wicked. Made for me as I really appreciate every little detail on there and the bloke who made it was a tall lanky bloke like me.
It's my boat. Probably don't need any others except a dinghy to put in the back.
