The real translation should be :" A small flower blooms on the heath, named Erika". But even with the right translation, politics is still a mess. Peter.

It was a seemingly innocuous ditty about a pretty flower that was designed as a marching song for a corrupt state. A rose is a rose is a rose. Is a rose a rose? Art doesn't exist in a vacuum. Just for fun:

A man in his 50s climbed the near 300ft tall dixons chimney in Carlisle at some point last night, early this morning at around 2am his cries were heard as he fell but got caught at the top of the ladder and ended up hanging upside down. Emergency services could not get him down till around 5 pm but sadly he died. It's not know why he was up there but I would have thought he was an urban explorer, climbing chimneys is quite popular. They found a massive cherry picker after trying with helicopters and mountain rescue. It seems he lasted till early afternoon before dieing. www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/dixons-chimney-incident-man-trapped-at-top-of-270ft-chimney-in-carlisle-confirmed-dead-by-police-a4272676.html
