Different people deal with things differently. I hate it when others are not nice to each other in difficult times. Do the comments about Foxy need to be so harsh?

Apart from Ross's posts which I skimmed..nah didn't even do that, this thread has made me think
Ive been through lot of tough times as I suspect many of us have
I've found peace through Meditation..though don't do it very often now..but I did for about 2 years..nearly moved into a Dharma centre until a good friend opened my eyes to the cracks and imperfections. Nothing in life is ever as it seems. I did the church thing as a child..tried to go back when my mental health had been somewhat battered but the 'christian beliefs' not quite charitable enough to support a mind in chaos...So I sort of drifted away but I will still attend services from time to time as I like the singing...I can cope with church now. I believe in being kind, listening, doing what I can for others. I try not to be judgemental and accept we are all flawed individuals..peoples imperfections make us unique. I believe that Mother Nature is responsible for trying to keep this world going...she needs a bit of help and support but she can be very cruel..hence the earthquakes, volcanoes, pandemics etc. I dunno really, I have liked most peoples comments and think oh yeah that right. I believe we have to like who we are in order to be at peace and content...I do think I'm ok.....I like the me I am now.

I agree @ben ... and it would be kind if foxy would take heed of multiple polite requests. Some of us will feel bad about being harsh with the fox ... but he'll just carry on regardless as he's proved many times. So don't feel bad ianali and others ... but good of you to apologise ... the fox rarely bothers. Rog

Just my opinion, I'll shut up about the issue now.

Did he say something? I missed it. Oh the sheer joy of having the twat on ignore. Come on Rog you know it makes sense, if we all had him on ignore no one would react so he wouldn't get his hit...... This!!! Have had fox on filter for about 6 months now, enjoying the forum again, it’s a much better place without him. So to all those who moan about him, why?? when the solution is in your own hands

I'm slightly confused here. I don't block anyone never have and never will. One of the things with naughtyfox posts is that it is often obvious from the start that they are going to be a bit of a nuisance. What you can do is just skip over and "not read it". This is a choice everyone has got at the end of the day. It seems like some sort of self-punishment regime to continue reading something knowing it is likely to be a bit annoying and cause upset.

What you can do is just skip over and "not read it". I don't see much point in blocking anyone either but one of the problems with not blocking them is that there is less chance of reading more interesting posts due to them being bumped down by the pointless ones. In Foxy's case it's a bit of an own goal really as occasionally he does post something interesting and when he does it's more likely to be ignored. I have come across another forum where someone basically set up his own thread (like Foxy did), then people have a choice whether to visit Foxy's world or not. Counting to 5 before hitting the post button may help too!

The fox does use rather a lot of regurgitated stuff. I'm not sure why really, when he writes his own words he has a certain art about him. A bit shocking and quite amusing sometimes, and always controversial.

You urge us to be kinder to foxy ... I agreed but pointed out foxy could be kinder to us. Wasn't meant to be complicated, sorry. Rog

I agree with you, and wouldn't want to put anyone on ignore ... foxy's photos and some of his posts are excellent. But it is tiresome to come across his bile on EVERY thread ... so some of us have politely, and occasionally exasperatedly asked him not to. Suddenly some on here are criticised for challenging foxy ... when it is he who initiates the problem. Why should JohnV or ianali be made to feel bad for trying to stop the fox spreading bile on every thread ? Freedom to post what you like INCLUDES freedom to be criticised for what you post ... and I point this out as a branded 'virtue signaller' and someone who is 'holier than thou' to name but two. Rog
