I believe in the idea that ideas rain down from heaven and strike people. Some people are good at absorbing them. I thinks that's part of the "steam train time" theory. easily chuffed ?

Interestingly, it transpires from the other channel that the OP believes in censorship!

And for those not viewing the other channel ... oh go on do tell Rog Someone said that people from Manchester must be thick (all that lockdown partying) and of course we all agreed, because it’s true. At which point a certain poster, who might be from manchester, called for the thread to be exterminated by the mods, because it was racist. Apparently Mancunians are a race apart. Yup, could be true I suppose.

It is interesting however ... what if a group of friends decides they will interact like a household, all accepting the potential risks and agreeing to restrict interaction to just their own group.

Rog Not allowed unless they all live in the same house/flat. They can’t just decide “we’re a household” for the weekend, and then go back to their separate pads afterwards. The whole point is to keep people apart. Obviously if you really do live in the same household, it isn’t feasible to keep apart but if you don’t, it is and that helps to slow the spread of the virus.

Rog I suppose the problem is that if one group does that, others will follow. I think for now it’s got to be one rule fits all? I can see no risk in Ali and me going to our boat whenever we wish. We won’t though as it just doesn’t seem fair while others struggle in so many ways.

CRT are now saying DO NOT visit your boat unless you are already residing on it.
I know this is advice but it is quite firm.
