Aren't we lucky to live in the only country in the world where the state broadcaster is completely impartial and not just an outlet for Government propaganda and lies?

You don't seem to be doing many Dover - Calais runs, 17 mile tailback putting you off? I last shipped Dover-Calais in 2014, two years before the Brexit referendum even happened. International transport hasn't really been a thing for British hauliers since 2004.

The tragic thing is that Jim "Nice but Dim" actually took my statement at face value. Like most Northerners, Jim thinks "irony" means "made of iron".

It's deliciously ironic that you assert you know better (no slight intended). But that's what you always do and, come to think of it, so does everyone else. 'Tis but the pile upon which Thunderboat is heaped. Quote an example of a politician admitting they were making it up, ideally about covid. Just for shits and giggles. I might be bothered, we'll see how easy it is. But for example I personally have heard several say in on "Question time" and on news programmes but of course that probably cannot be found on the internet. Edit: here is a start, politicians explaining how other politicians got it wrong or at least, "sub-optimal". Edit: No it doesn't seem easy to find that in writing, there aren't transcripts of Question Time etc, but I heard it several times. And its not unreasonable, they had never encountered such a thing before, how could they be expected to know exactly how to pursue the best strategy? But of course you might just want to dismiss that as me lying since it doesn't suit your agenda.
It's not about me knowing better, it is about what I happened to hear them say and presumably what you didn't happen to hear them say.
I have never stated or even suggested that you are lying.

What seems strange to me is that even as the hoax is dying a death, and we hear more and more about the cheese and wine parties which our leaders held weekly in Downing Street at a time when we couldn't even visit Granny as she lay dying, the Covidiots seem to harden their resolve evermore against any return to normality. I was idly wondering earlier if a North Korean who did not accept his Government's policy unquestioningly would be a "conspiracy theorist". Of course, the Covidiots would say "But they are a suppressed people whereas we live in a free country". I'm sure they are told and believe the same in Pyongyang. You are forgetting that normally we can go to see our neighbours across the channel without let or hindrance, unlike North Korea. Oh hang on, who voted Brexit... We used to be fairly wealthy, not like North Korea... Oh hang on, who voted Brexit... The travel restrictions are because a lot of hypochondriac idiots started running round like headless chickens and believing stories about a Mysterious Virus - the travel restrictions are nothing to do with 'Brexit'. They are everything to do with control of populations, and making money out of it, all under the name of 'Covid'. You can still travel, as long as you take the 4th, 5th and 6th 'vaccines' to keep your Vaxx Pass valid.

After all we can make fun of whomever we please, including the monarch. Also shut up about Brexit.

I have a sad life living alone in my bedsit in Sittingbourne, so thank goodness The Fox brightens up my day! Please to hear that!

The Taliban believe in a morally repugnant, insane ideology which leads to the following actions being taken: Population terrorised into submission by its rulers. Children denied the right to an education. People forced to cover their faces in public. Removal of human rights. Of course, none of this is happening in the UK, is it?

Misquoting others' posts is really not fair and beyond the bounds of an unmoderated forum.
Most of us dislike each other, many of us have disdain for many others.... but the majority (like you) still respect the right to say what you believe and let that stand.

Surely 'some of us dislike each other' ? Rog
