I wasn't judging.... I just felt sad for those kids because I knew a fiver could have bought them all a decent meal. "I queued in a supermarket behind a strange young thing yesterday with the requisite tattoos, baby in pushchair, another overactive kid of indeterminate sex being a pta to everyone else in the shop - horrified at what they bought and what it cost." Nah, not judgy in the slightest. <groan>

I Was just doing a bit of research into this unbelievably interesting dog bothering story and noticed that the tasered dog owner received a suspended sentenced last Friday for this incident. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-67527272

I suppose it is too much to apply for the job of killing the things. Apparently the vets are having emotional problems. Surely there are a few people around who would happily put a .22 slug into these creatures for the Greater Good and charge less than £200 each. Can they be eaten? FFS people happily eat bacon, shoot deer, battery farm chickens yet someone has emotional issues around killing blatantly dangerous dogs Whats going on there then?

The ones who think about it become vegans. Also I don't believe the dogs are being shot.
I read something once about how abbatoir workers tend to exhibit greater levels of cruelty the longer they are in the job, and also that they often suffer from high levels of stress.

Whilst doing my service engineering apprenticeship, we used to go to a local black pudding manufacturers which had their own abattoir joined on, the memories of the killing noises and the ‘river of blood’ underfoot is still with me.🤮

No they are not getting shot it will be an injection. Apparently it is an expensive process.

If ever you needed proof that people are supposed to eat meat, if you say the word "sausage" backwards, it comes out as "Jesus".

Dogs probably are quite tasty if they don't get too much exercise.
Pikey lurchers with the ribs probably not worth it but a bit fat XL whose main activity is sitting watching Sky doing the childminding while the parents are out selling drugs could be quite a tasty delicacy.
Cheap chicken and fish shops will be looking at it for the burgers. Must be easier than processing rats.

I wonder if Taxidermy is an option.
One could have the head stuffed and mounted on a mahogany board and screwed to the wall in the drawing room .
