My dream is to dig coal from an old pit. Something went wrong somewhere.
I think it was fucking a good woman which caused the issues.
Definitely.
I get text messages from early teenagers claiming that I am their dad.
Christ on a hike !

Pretty happy with Telemachus really. If we were to rewind and buy again, might have gone for a tug deck and the 15mm base plate. Adding the 3” to the cabin sides of Telemachus has made it noticeably more tender than a standard Hudson, the thicker base plate might have countered that. Otherwise, and with the current upgrades I’ve fitted myself, there wouldn’t really be anything to spend more money on. Apart from more rivets, obviously.

Well, you needed the extra space for the big head. Add ballast.

There is always room for more rivets. How much were they, each? At least £1000. The gold ones were £5000. Well worth every penny.

What do you mean, "more" rivets? There is always room for more rivets. I was simply making the point that your boat does not have any rivets. rivet /ˈrɪvɪt/ noun a short metal pin or bolt for holding together two plates of metal, its headless end being beaten out or pressed down when in place. "a rectangular plate containing an iron rivet"

Mind you, this comes from someone who doesn’t appreciate that the primary purpose of their boat is to float dead bodies gently down the cut to their final destination.

I think washer josher is the term. Well I did have a shower this evening, so I guess that’s the washer element dealt with. Now for some slightly dodgy puns to satisfy the josher element…. Wait for it…

They do not hold the steel plates together but are simply a cosmetic affectation, glued or welded to the exterior steelwork.

Some people believe in god. Some people believe in a different god and that the other god is really the devil. Some people believe all sorts of stuff without them having any actual facts to go on - they just believe because someone else told them to. You believe that our boat doesn’t have any rivets. Bless, that is very nice for you but your belief is totally devoid of any evidence.

So you believe the welded on washers are rivets?

So you believe the welded on washers are rivets? I believe they were created by god and simply appeared on our blessed boat as a sign of my immaculate creation. They appear superficial only to unbelievers.
