and your point is?
current practice is apparently to leave the middle seat (of 3) empty, as reported to be standard practice on most airlines, allowing 2 feet between passengers ............... a load of good that will do, with infected air circulating round the cabin.
the whole thing is a farce.
Ryanair' boss was very critical - in his opinion the only way you can make air travel even slightly safe is to check the temperature of every passenger before boarding and require everyone including the cabin crew to wear a mask.

what impresses me most is his appearance and bearing.
freshly pressed trousers, blazer with medals, smart white shirt and a proper tie.
no doubt his daughter makes sure he is always up to the mark, but I would imagine he's been like that all his life.
a true old soldier.
WELL DONE THAT MAN !!

So... after hiding in a wardrobe whilst shagging someone else's wife when her hubby came home, and after hiding in a fridge to avoid Piers Morgan, and after hiding in hospital (pretending to be sick with the coronavirus)* to escape the nation's scorn... we have this: Breaking News: Boris Johnson will now take six months paternity leave. *anyone here remember I said it was just a con trick and that he wouldn't die? Well, he's not dead, is he? Thought for the day: Every child that Boris Johnson has ever acknowledged and bothered to meet has disowned him for mistreating their mother. sources please.
otherwise you will again be labelled a gossiping malevolent troll.

you don't need to understand ....... you don't even live here. Not in your house, no, but we have been spending 14-15 weeks/year in England and Wales - Scotland too! in view that you don't understand you clearly don't pick up the flavour of what's happening here from your fleeting visits - none of which have been made since the lockdown..

I am 50% sure that we will be off to Newbury (and on to Bristol!) in June. I'm pretty sure you won't.

I still don't understand why the Police aren't arresting everyone stood in the queues outside B&Q as buying plants and garden gnomes for the garden isn't really 'key work' or 'essential'. And such easy targets. you don't need to understand ....... you don't even live here.
far be it from me to suggest that you mind your own bizness

Just looked up air fares Helsinki - Heathrow. Really cheap - just 133 Euros return (out June, back August). there are plenty of flights available for "booking" ............................ but I suspect many of them will be cancelled before the departure date arrives.

"First Minister Nicola Sturgeon (pictured) said face coverings should be used in enclosed spaces where social distancing is hard to maintain" Nicola Sturgeon in an enclosed space NOT wearing a face covering. I wish she would wear a face mask - it can only be an improvement.

I'm told the trip to Lechlade is wonderful and well worth the risks of encountering hire boats hurtling down towards you on the flow around the bends. Rog luckily very few hire boats venture anywhere near Lechlade.
the upper stretch of the river, including as far beyond Lechlade as you can navigate depending on fallen trees, etc., is relatively featureless and could be seen to be monotonous, but if you really want to get away from it all and just relax it is very rewarding.

a wise counsellor would suggest he demonstrate the method, to allay any fears the general population may have.

I may or may not have been able to get a dog....atm that idea shelved as whatever available locally is stupid money and all those bulldog type breeds that I hate. why not look for a rescue dog? Not one of those odd breeds from Eastern Europe that you have to buy, but someone's much loved pooch that they can't look after any more. That seems to be what most mature dog owners in Bristol are doing. Last week I met a lady who had taken a 5 month old beagle that was an unwanted Xmas gift - a lovely dog.

I have almost given up reading or watching any news or information related to the virus.
I have corona fatigue.
Time for a bit of lateral thinking and filling the day with more uplifting activities.

The others have done the 'nick their wallet' gags so I'll do the Good Samaritan bit: They will die if they are not breathing, so you will have to give them the Kiss of the Coronavirus for starters. But... how? Suspected spinal injury = move them and you could cut/tear/damage the spinal cord (the jelly-like thing with all the communication cables). How can you give them air (via mouth - is there any other way?) without having to turn them over if they are laying face down? Even if spinal injury suspected, the patient must be removed from immediate harm, such as fire, or electrical cables flaying around, or electric cables touching them (turn it off from the fusebox, don't touch them with a metal poker!). They could also have their face in a puddle of water so you don't want them to drown either. Phone for ambulance as soon as you can (ie. having at least removed them from immediate danger). Bear in mind they could have fallen from their horse because they became unconscious due to something such as diabetes, so check their pockets for medication, check their neck for a tag (that tells of an illness). Don't forget to check pulse also, best way is finger to carotid artery. Am I doing OK so far? Oh yeah, keep them warm by putting your jacket over them, or the 'space blanket' you always carry with you. Not bad, but you forgot to use your keyring ventilator shield, or get the bigger one from the car. So you have coro now. Congratulations, still look on the positive side, you can post shite for another 2 weeks. So we won't forget you. does that come with a guarantee?
